Product development veteran seeking technical co-founder to bootstrap startup.
Bare essentials:
* You have the technical chops to create a robust web application from scratch (you'll collaborate with a business counterpart on a legit product backlog). You have recent proof points, including apps that deliver(ed) "social utility".
* Integrity, loyalty, and level-headed(ness) are traits you seek in a partner. You know you offer the same.
* You could commit yourself to the right bootstrapped business, foregoing salary for the near-term in return for equity and an incredible growth opportunity.
* You live in the SF Bay Area.
A blurb about the startup:
First-mover addressing a key market inefficiency in music today. We will leverage today's social networking utilities to help consumers find and experiment with music they'll love. Generating more revenue for artists and other industry players. All the while, saving money for consumers. Our model translates into other verticals but the focus will be hitting it out of the park first in music. Model is timely as it should flourish with the recessionary squeeze on discretionary spending.
Further qualifications for this role:
* You've succeeded in start-ups before, either as an architect, dev lead, or founder.
* You are an excellent collaborator and versatile enough to think critically about strategy.
* You have experience with widgets (ala slide.com), predictive/ recommendation algorithms, location-aware services, and/or building scalable applications in the cloud.
* You love music. Ideally, you avidly listen to Pandora, Last.FM, iLike, or some other music sharing/ discovery site.
About me:
10 years creating consumer and enterprise web offerings, mostly from the Product Management vantage. I live for the startup tumult of delivering innovative and impactful new technologies. This venture embodies my passion for music and to address operational or market inefficiencies.
